While we spent a week in a hotel with Cameron we took advantage of having pool access. So for his first real swimming experience we opted to try it out in a pool instead of the lakes (probably better b/c who knows what illnesses he would pick up, haha). Other than dipping his toes in the water or bath time, he hasn't had any pool action. So my sister, Amy and I suited up to take Cam Jam to the pool. Needless to say the "heated" pool was freezing and Amy never got in. Yet he loved being in the water freezing or not! I think we'll have a little water bug on our hands. I'm hoping to sign him up for a mommy and me swim class later this year.
