Hello Friends & Family--
December 9th marked 32 weeks. This week he discovered that there were "things" under the Christmas tree. He hasn't unwrapped anything yet, but I think he likes the crumpling sound. Thankfully, he hasn't really tried it since! I only have to worry about Bolero who LOVES to hang out under and behind the tree. Silly cat.
We've been having a ball taking the photo shoots now. The only problem is keeping the bear and Cameron in the frame. He loves to throw the bear on the ground and then roll around on the chair. I ended up taking a video, so I may be posting videos if he keeps rollin' around :)
Love,
Chris, Amber & Cameron
31 Weeks!
Hello Friends & Family--
Cameron was 31 weeks on December 2nd. He's busy working on sitting (he still can't sit unassisted for very long). He takes lots of nose dives. Don't worry he's busy rolling around; he can get to just about any corner of the house if he really tries. He still loves to be entertained and will let you know when he's bored and had enough. Sometimes I think I have the crankiest kid on the block :) Hence the nickname Cranky Cameron. Yet he surprises me with a large squeal and belly laugh a minute later.
The last picture just kills me. He's such a character.

Chris, Amber & Cameron

Christmas Trees!
Hello Friends & Family--
On November 27th, we headed out to a local tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. It's become a tradition for Chris and I, so we couldn't wait to share that with Cameron! It was pretty cold so we made this a very quick trip. Note we also went to a different tree farm and we definitely will be returning to our usual spot next year! I think this is the earliest we've ever put up our Christmas tree & decor.

29 Weeks!
Hello Friends & Family--
Cam turned 29 weeks on November 18th. He's quite the ham when he wants to be, but can also be quite the crank. I can see how frustrated he is in his lack of mobility, but he hasn't made much progression in that department. One day.
Our pictures may become more difficult as he won't sit still and the bear has become very interesting all of a sudden! Just his true colors shining through.
Here's our handsome man at 29 weeks!

30 Weeks & 7 Months!
Hello Friends & Family--
On November 25th Cam was 30 weeks, and the 29th marked 7 months! Wow over 1/2 a year has gone by! I am still in shock! He continues to 'roll' everywhere he wants. Even up against a wall or piece of furniture only to cry in frustration. He tries to scoot, but he's just not there yet. As far as sitting up goes, he could do it if he'd stop kicking his feet! Haha.
We've introduced some more solids and we haven't had a 'bitter beer face' yet! No adverse reactions so I think we have a good little eater on our hands! They say they aren't too picky at this point, but once we've become a toddler this will be a different story :) I'm going to do a separate post on my baby food for those that are curious (soon I promise!).
Like I said someone has ants in his pants during his photo shoots...

28 Weeks!
Hello Friends & Family--
Cam was 28 weeks on November 11th! We've continued to eat solids with enthusiasm! We are experiencing some tummy issues, so prunes were recently introduced. He enjoyed them and hopefully they start working! I'm sure he'll appreciate reading this when he's older.
Cam still enjoys his music and books. We can never read enough books, but he will get upset if you don't let him "eat" the book when your finished. Needless to say we read most of his foam/plush/board books. He has also started to really make some consonant sounds, specifically Dee-Dee-Dee. I'm sure Dada will be his first word : (

Yummy Squash!
Hello Friends & Family--
After a couple of weeks of rice cereal it was time to bump it up to the next level. What better way then by some yummy squash (this happens to be our favorite). I prepared the squash myself (and even used my new freezer baby tray)!
On November 1st, Cam had his first taste of squash! He was quite delighted by the change in tastes (I think the cereal can be a bit bland). He didn't spit it out and kept opening his mouth for more! We'll continue on this for one week then I think we'll introduce some peas!
Thankfully when they are this little they aren't picky eaters! I can't wait till his old enough to tell me no and throw it on the floor! Ha!
